Of many of the custom watercolor orders I have recieved, I recently was asked to create a pet portrait of Lola the cat. I personally had never painted a cat before, but was willing to give it a shot. I practiced a lot and was pretty disappointed in my many attempts. It wasn't until my last attempt that I decided to do a little more research on cats and watched a few videos of other people and how they drew cats. I am proud to say that I was very satisfied with the end result. Well worth all of the time and practice that I put into this piece. Never tell yourself you can't. I used the wet on wet watercolor technique to complete this painting.
